The Spark Center is located inside the offices for Northwest Neighbors, INC in the Rockton Centre at 3106 N. Rockton Ave, Suite B, in Rockford, Illinois (61103).
Our 2025 programming focuses on LIGHT and Lasers as we continue to expand the materials and resources in the builders area and move the computer lab forward. For class information or open work area please contact Jeremiah Griffin at [email protected]

Our 2024 programming concludes December 19th for our Youth classes. We will have a pizza party and open video game time.

2025 LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Northwest Neighbors is proud to host our Summer 2025 Youth Leadership Development Program in Northwest Rockford.
A summer training program including training and work opportunities with:
- Community & Youth Violence Prevention and Children’s Safety Training
- Community Leaders of the Future Program
- Community focus on FRESH WATER and Natural resources in our area.
- Community Gardens Tending & Management
- Community Volunteering & Leadership with Local Community Food Pantries
- Community Technology Access with Spark Center programs
These are paid positions and limited to 10-15 youth chosen from a pool of applicants. Youth will be paid for their time for up to 20 hours a week at a reasonable wage.
